The Public Communication and Media Relations Division.
HANSARD DIVISION
The Hansard refers to the official printed reports of Parliamentary proceedings and its committees. It is therefore the record of Assembly Plenary and Committee proceedings.
It is a verbatim (word for word) account of the daily proceedings of the Assembly and its Committees. Allowance is made for the correction of grammar, and factual errors.
The Hansard forms one of the journals of the Assembly for which the Clerk is the official custodian. It is produced by a team of officers (Hansard Reports, Hansard Editors and Audio Officers)
Mandate
The Hansard department derives its mandate from
County Assembly standing order 221 on Hansard reports.
County Assembly standing order 223 on broadcast of County Assembly proceedings.
