The Legal and Legislative Directorate is entrusted with the task of giving both legal and legislative guidance to the Assembly.
The Legal and Legislative directorate is established with jurisdictional mandate to handle all legal issues pertaining to Kisii County Assembly.
Mandate
The directorate is created under Section 12 (7) (b) and 13(5) (b) of the County Government Act, 2012 and Section 24 of the County Assembly Services Act, 2017.
