HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

The human resource functions entails: developing appropriate human resource policies, rules and regulations; organizing and administering the human resource management; implementing appropriate human resource management policies, rules and regulations; facilitating recruitment, training and development of staff; carrying out training need assessment; coordinating the implementation of performance management systems; facilitating human resource planning, communication, discipline, employee remuneration and staff welfare; managing the payroll; ensuring compliance with statutory human resource legislation; managing human resource records; coordinating the implementation of HIV/AIDS, and gender and disability mainstreaming policies.

Mandate

The division is created under Section 12 (7) (b) and 13(5) (b) of the County Government Act, 2012 and Section 24 of the County Assembly Services Act, 2017.
